RESUMO: A educação de crianças em seu desenvolvimento tem relações práticas e cotidianas vivenciadas, inicia-se sua construção de conhecimentos pela oportunidade de imaginar, aprender, observar, questionar, brincar e quando desenvolve habilidades e comportamentos competentes de práticas sociais. Em relação a educação de crianças com deficiência visual, as oportunidades de conhecimento se dão quando é dado o acesso a linguagem Braille, com isso incluímos ela ao âmbito social e cultural e assim o mundo vai sendo descoberto pelas mãos. O código Braille é um sistema universal e natural de leitura e escrita, utilizado por pessoas com deficiência visual, principalmente pelas pessoas cegas. O processo de alfabetização do código para uma criança portadora da perda total de visão, requer recursos especializados. A curva de aprendizado do sistema Braille se torna um processo lento, sendo a habilidade de leitura mais complexa, exigindo uma técnica analítica, principalmente com a destreza tátil e movimentos manuais coordenados. Para imergir uma criança no mundo da leitura Braille, é necessário construir sua alfabetização, principalmente baseada no letramento sintético, no qual estabelece uma correspondência entre o som e a grafia, entre o oral e o escrito, através do aprendizado por letra por letra, ou sílaba por sílaba e palavra por palavra. O presente projeto tem como objetivo criar um método capaz de auxiliar o processo de letramento infantil no sistema Braille. Nesse sentido, o sistema vem cumprir seu papel quando insere o deficiente visual no mundo das palavras, causando uma espécie de libertação intelectual.

The code literacy process for a child with total vision loss requires specialized resources. The learning curve of the Braille system becomes a slow process, with the reading skill being more complex, requiring an analytical technique, mainly with tactile dexterity and coordinated manual movements. To immerse a child in the world of reading Braille, it is necessary to build their literacy, mainly based on synthetic literacy, in which it establishes a correspondence between sound and writing, between oral and written, through learning letter by letter, or syllable by syllable and word by word. The present project aims to create a method capable of assisting children's literacy process in the Braille system. In this sense, the system fulfills its role when it inserts the visually impaired into the world of words, causing a kind of intellectual liberation..
