This article is a literature review aimed at exploring the feasibility of producing
ceramic parts using a non-dedicated 3D printer (FDM - Fused and Deposition Modeling) for ceramic materials. It is inspired by the need to manufacture components of this material in Ventricular Assist Devices, thereby impacting the growing biomaterials market by providing a cost-effective alternative to established processes.
